Berkmar Parking Rules and Guidelines (Overview)

Students must complete a parking application, which can be picked up from Ms. Najour’s office in Room 8.334 or at the front desk. Please bring the following documents that are listed on the application for approval.

Here is the list of the following documents you need to bring with your application to get approved.

1.    Vehicle Tag Information

2.    Vehicle registration

3.    Vehicle Insurance

 Once your application is approved you can purchase a parking decal to park on campus. A parking decal is $50.00 for the entire school year, which can be paid using my Payment plus, please bring a copy or screenshot of your confirmation receipt to pick up your student parking decal.   When you receive your decal, you must park in the same space every day. First come, first served for a parking space. Decals will be provided on the same day as your application is approved, you can purchase your decal after being approved on your application.

  Learners permit (Class CP) are not accepted to drive and park on school campuses.

If you purchase a parking decal and you have a Learners Permit, you will be refunded immediately.

If you park on campus with a learner Permit, your parents will be called to pick up your vehicle.

Berkmar has limited parking. Priority campus parking consists of seniors, juniors, and Modified Day students. Berkmar students who attend other educational campuses (Maxwell, Grayson, Phoenix, etc.) must still purchase a parking permit. Parking permits are valid only for the person and vehicle identified by the school’s records. Lost or severely damaged parking decals must be replaced. There will be a $5 administrative fee.

Poor attendance or excessive tardiness may result in the loss of parking / driving privileges. This loss may be temporary or permanent. Any student that acts reckless nor cost a major accident could result Permanent suspend parking privileges for two or more years.

Students who receive a violation ticket from our school officials, will need to pay their fees to Ms. Najour in room number 8.334.

Last Offense – Administrator Consequence

The parking lot is off limits to all students during the day unless the student can present a pass for other educational campuses purpose to leave or has written permission from an administrator.

Parking is not permitted in any driveway area, curbs along any street or any area not designated for parking on campus. Once you receive your decal, you must park in the student parking lot every day, no parking in Handicapped parking unless the appropriate decal or tag is displayed for that vehicle. Students are to park only in student authorized parking areas.

• Student Parking Lots
  • There are designated parking areas for Berkmar students.
  • You must have the appropriate parking decal to park within the designated lots.
• Faculty parking Lots (Students you are prohibited to park in these areas)
  • Tennis courts lot, Main Field house lot, Main Gym lot, Main Bus drop off/pick up area)
  • Always reserved for faculty and staff only –
