Work Permits

Effective July 1, 2015, with the exception of minors in entertainment, work permits are no longer required for youth age 16 and older.

Please follow the following steps: 

• Students under 16 can pick up a work permit form from the Main Office Reception.
• Take the form to employer; employer will fill out the required information and then form needs to come back to to our front desk receptionist.
• Students will then receive a hard copy of the work permit. 
• Please note that sometimes employers are more familiar with the process and they have already submitted all the information to the GA Youth Department of Labor.  The student will still need to bring the form to the main office so we may verify and submit.
