Hailing to you from the Buckeye state, Motown and the Big Apple, I am now a proud Georgia Peach! Education has always been a part of my family life and history as my lineage embraces many educators. I have chosen to be a life-long learner, and accept new challenges.
I have been in the field of education for approximately 20 years…working in a high school jobs program, and currently as a school counselor. To join Gwinnett County Public Schools, particularly Berkmar High School, has been by far one of my best choices.

I have been in Georgia for almost a decade after growing up in Metro Detroit. I have a passion for helping others and doing everything I can to help people meet their goals. I’ve joined the Berkmar family after working in the university setting and private practice therapy for the last few years. My goal is to help each student I work with identify their path, then create and execute the plan to get there.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, attending college football games (primarily for the marching band) and doing community service with my sorority. I look forward to getting to know you all and supporting your journey to reach new heights!

Welcome students, parents, and shareholders. I was born in Miami, FL and received my general education from Miami-Dade County Public Schools. After navigating the pitfalls of life and working as Deputy sheriff for Fulton County GA, I noticed the need for a positive male role model for our youths and inner-city At-Risk populations. I have a strong passion for assisting students in reaching their individual goals and objectives in life.
I can honestly say after (16) years in the profession, I have found my calling as a professional high school counselor whereby I never feel bad about going to work, due to enjoying what I do.

Greetings Patriots! I am excited to work with the students, families, and staff here at Berkmar High School to provide counseling for all students’ academic, social/emotional, and college/career needs. I was born and raised in Georgetown, SC and moved to Georgia to attend the University of Georgia (GO Dawgs!) When away from school, I enjoy traveling, creating projects with my Cricut, and cooking. I am excited about the work we will all do together to help students reach their full potential.
